Dr. Helen May

Dr. Helen May is a dedicated dental professional who brings warmth, expertise, and a passion for patient care to May Dentistry in North Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. May earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Dentistry after completing both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Miami.

Professional Journey

Dr. May began her dental career in 2015 and recently acquired May Dentistry in March 2025, continuing the legacy of quality care established since 1998. Her decision to pursue dentistry stemmed from her love of working with her hands and desire to build meaningful relationships with patients. A shadowing experience with her local dentist during her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami confirmed her passion for the field.

Philosophy of Care

"I love making patients feel more comfortable and confident with their smiles," says Dr. May. She believes in creating a welcoming environment where patients can feel at ease while receiving top-quality dental care. Dr. May and her team share a commitment to patient well-being, working collaboratively toward optimal oral health outcomes—often with plenty of laughter along the way.

Beyond the Office

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. May enjoys practicing yoga (recently completed her 200-hour teaching certification), reading on the beach, and traveling with her husband to new destinations. She has a passion for wildlife photography and is preparing for future scuba diving adventures after recently becoming certified.
